I am a very handsome and energetic purebred Chesapeake Bay Retriever who came to Laguna Beach with my foster mom. I am looking for a lifetime mom who would love to have a handsome guy like me around to give her a "Chessie smile", go to the beach with, lay at her feet and to keep her safe. The first part of my life was not easy because my original owners left me outside in the Arizona heat, beat me pretty badly & neglected me.  My foster mom took me in, saved me from being put down, gave me lots of attention and helped me trust people again. I have been in doggie training school for the last 5 months and have learned how to be the best dog I can be. I can be goofy at times but I'm still puppy.
